      I'm glad I got a sample first, it doesn't really smell very strong of coffee even when just smelling the bar itself. I also wouldn't describe it as "gentle exfoliation", it feels like it's scratching you (maybe I have sensitive skin, idk). I ended up just using it on my legs because it wasn't as bad that way. When I did use it though, it left my skin very soft.

      I really dig Hickory Ridge Soaps. I have very dry, sensitive skin and have to be careful of what products I use. The soap is very gentle on my skin and it has a wonderful, creamy lather. All of the soap smells wonderful when I receive it. The ONLY thing that bums me a little is that the smell fades from the bar very quickly after it is opened. However, maybe that has to do with why it is so gentle on my skin...I would definitely recommend this soap to anyone, but specifically to people with skin conditions similar to mine.
