Spearmint Leaves
•Posted on March 14 2020

Not only do spearmint leaves add an attractive look to soap, but they can have a cooling and refreshing affect on the skin.
The herbal aroma of spearmint makes it beneficial to the respiratory system, helping those with colds or allergies by relieving congestion. Since it has such a nice refreshing scent, it makes a wonderful soap for anyone to enjoy.
Benefits are not just enjoyed from the scent, but spearmint has wonderful beneficial properties for the rest of the body as well. Spearmint is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-fungal. When added to soap, it makes a very effective bar of soap that cleanses and disinfects minor cuts and scrapes. It also helps to soothe irritated skin and some people say that it helps with acne.
We add spearmint leaves to our Mint Eucalyptus Soap and Iced Lavender & Rosemary Goat Milk Soap.
