Lavender is an amazingly beneficial plant. It has many wonderful properties and is one of the most popular and versatile herbs used.
Lavender has a wonderful scent and helps promote calmness and wellness. In aromatherapy it can help with sleeplessness, anxiety, depression, and headaches among other issues. Lavender is also antiseptic and anti-inflammatory, when used topically it treats minor cuts, bug bites, and soothes skin irritation. It has also been shown to promote hair growth.
We use lavender in its many different forms, including lavender essential oil, lavender powder, and lavender buds. Lavender buds make a beautiful addition to the tops of handmade soap and provide gently exfoliation when placed in soap.
