Oatmeal

The oatmeal at Hickory Ridge Soaps comes in two forms:  Colloidal & Ground.
Ground oatmeal is ground whole oat kernels while colloidal oatmeal has been finely milled into powder form.

When added to handmade soap, oatmeal moisturizes, protects and prevents many skin problems and irritations such as dry or itchy skin.  Oatmeal is an anti-inflammatory, making it soothing to skin and it is also a great cleanser.

Ground oatmeal is also a gentle exfoliator when added to handmade soap.
